Christina has always been captivated by stories. Some of her earliest memories involve being completely drawn into the Little Golden Books, making her Nana and Pappy read Pokey Little Puppy to her so many times they probably wanted to take Pokey to the pound.
As Christina got a little older, she discovered the books with cassette tapes for read-alongs and Teddy Ruxpin, and Nana and Pappy were off the hook... for reading, anyway. In her teenage years, immersing herself in stories became an escape, and she read book after book.
So, in a way, books have always been there for her, so words are what she has always been passionate about—but not the speaking of them (as she’s little more than a foul mouth with feet)—just the writing of them.
As an adult, on a total whim, she decided to develop her passion for writing and try to become a real author.
When Christina isn’t cutting hair in her salon, you’ll find her lounging with her mutts and hard at work on her next novel.
