Elizabeth Spencer writes YA fantasy and steampunk, but she loves just about anything with magic, action, and adventure. (That's especially true if it somehow involves characters wearing truly amazing hats. That might, in fact, explain the steampunk thing.)
She lives in New England, though somewhat by accident—after living in six states and spending two years in Japan, everywhere just feels like the next step in a long and colorful journey. When she isn't writing, she's… well, still writing, because she happens to write and edit websites for a living. But when she isn't doing that, she's baking goodies, reading everything she can, crocheting blankets, and trying to fit videogames into the few minutes she has left.
