We are not a vanity publisher. You never pay to have your book published with us. Upon final acceptance, your book will be edited, assigned an ISBN, and our cover artist will create an eye-catching cover. It will be available for sale through our site and also sold at many distributors. Evernight Teen books will be available in POD print after digital release.
We want to see books that have well developed plots, strong conflicts, memorable characters and dialogue. Evernight is seeking gritty teen romance, coming of age stories, and cutting edge fiction that today's young adults can relate to. The stories should have real issues, a strong emotional punch, and a plot to keep the reader turning the pages.
Evernight Teen caters to the 14+ age market, so we will not accept books intended for an adult, child, or middle-school market.
Your book should be thoroughly pre-edited before submitting. No head-hopping. No books from a series started elsewhere or previously published books. No plagiarism! No song lyrics or copyright material. Authors must be over 18 years of age to submit their work.
NO incest. NO sex between adults and children.
Main characters are ideally between the ages of 16 and 21.
Authors earn 45% gross royalties from sales off our website and 45% net royalties from our distributors. We are currently accepting completed manuscripts of 25,000 up to 100,000 words in all sub-genres of young adult fiction.
